About

Last Chance Recovery Center is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 5130 Milwee Street in Houston, Texas. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Last Chance Recovery Center. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Last Chance Recovery Center.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Last Chance Recovery Center, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged 18+, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Last Chance Recovery Center have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Last Chance Recovery Center. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Last Chance Recovery Center can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Getting treatment is the best option when seeking a life that is free of substance abuse. Get the help required now and start living the best life possible. Contact Last Chance Recovery Center by visiting lastchancerc.org now.

Anybody who didn't give this place 4 or 5 stars honestly didn't follow the Program Guidelines, Steps, or rules of the house. For someone to leave a bad review just because they relapsed or we're kicked out is rediculous! This house is great for somone trying to get sober and back on their feet. There is meetings on site every other day, great house managers, and house full of guys willing to HELP You keep your sobriety! This recovery program is what you make of it! Sharing my personal experience here. I had a sponcee that was in crisis. Last Chance took him in. He had no money, no job, no insurance. Mike, the director, is a no nonsense kind of guy and really helped out. Not only did they take him in, they took him to the hospital when he had some detox issues. Last Chance recovery saved that young man's life, and as a recovering alcoholic myself, earned my undying respect. These are good people!

Awesome management. Especially love the secluded atmosphere & landscape This is not a hard core treatment facility, so if that's what you need Please don't come here, then leave a 1 star rating after being terminated for drinking or using. That's so weak!

Been living here for a month now & I really like the management. Especially love the secluded atmosphere and landscape. There is a lot more good things to be said (as opposed to bad) about the style of, 'being given enough rope to hang yourself'. But this is not for everyone! We are Not a hard core treatment facility so if that's what you need then PLEASE don't come here, & then give a 1 star review of B...S%*! after getting terminated for using &/or drinking, That is so weak! The staff here has nothing but the best interest at heart for every single resident

Do you think you may have a problem with Drugs or Alcohol? Has anyone else in you life suggested your drinking or your prescription drug use is getting out of control? If the answer is yes to either one, Last Chance Recovery Center may be the right place for you. Last Chance is a Men's program of recovery that implements the 12-Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. The only requirement asked of you is the desire to stop drinking/using drugs. If you want to learn how to live your life free from addiction then this is the place for you. *This is my personal review and not an advertisement* -Byron Client/Resident
